Approach
The most rewarding part of being a therapist, is helping people find hope and seeing people make meaningful changes in their lives. Being a helper by nature, I find counseling to be the perfect fit for me, as I am interested in each person’s unique life circumstances. I believe that together we can reveal individual strengths and foster personal resilience. I embrace the mind and body connection, and work collaboratively with clients to develop tools and resources for a successful outcome to therapy. My primary approaches are client centered, solution focused, CBT and mindfulness techniques.
Areas of Focus
We all experience difficult personal times when we need to reach out for additional support. As your counselor, we will develop practical strategies, identify your strengths, and work together to begin moving you towards a more fulfilling and balanced life. My focus is on the client as a whole individual, rather than a diagnosis, addressing your physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
My passion is assisting women, and female teens in the areas of depression, grief/loss, anxiety disorders, and life adjustment. It is my goal to provide clients a safe, trusting environment to identify and nurture their therapeutic goals.
I am highly skilled in treatment of anxiety and mood disorders and fully committed to assisting clients in achieving their goals.
